In 1980, Roland introduced the TR-808 Rhythm Composer as a quick and easy songwritin tool for musicians. Four decades later it is largely credited for helping shape the sound of hp-hop. New Balance Numeric and Roland have collaborated to make a truly special version of Tiago Lemos’ sognature 808 Lite model, a number they share not entirely by coincidence.

The NM808LRO is laced with details inspired by the TR-808, with a co-branded tongue, graphic appliques, custom TR-808 keychain, and a translucent sole.
